What we needed
A real home for the business.
- A dedicated web presence
- Customer and invoice management
- A storefront that is easy to make your own
Built from real side hustles
I built Metner after my fiancée and I noticed the same problem from two different sides: I wanted to sell the things I make, and she wanted to offer party-planning services in our community.
We wanted a polished place to send people and a simple way to stay organized. Everything we found either did too little—or did far too much and cost a ton for what was supposed to be a side hustle.
A simpler route to local selling
Why this exists
The goal was never to recreate a giant commerce platform. It was to keep the useful parts, leave out the noise, and make something that feels right for selling to people nearby.

What Metner is for
Do work you enjoy, for people near you, and let Metner quietly support everything around it.
Metner is built to handle the storefront and follow-through so you can spend more time making, planning, renting, or serving.
A side hustle does not need enterprise software on day one. Start with what helps now and add more only when the work calls for it.
If your side hustle becomes a full-time business, that is worth celebrating. I will gladly help you move to the right next platform.
Built by a seller, shaped by sellers
I use Metner for my own laser engraving and 3D-printing work. Everything I add starts with a real need—and early sellers can help guide where it goes next.
